Santa Pola tooth whitening
It can be carried out in the dental surgery or at home. In both cases we use whitening gels that produce the oxidation of the stain and eliminate it. Occasionally, the teeth become slightly more sensitive during this process, but this is always temporary and the sensitivity can be controlled with specific toothpastes that we will recommend.
Whitening in the consultation room

The most comfortable for the patient, as it only requires two sessions in the clinic, each lasting about 75 minutes. The gels with whitening product are applied to the teeth (after protecting the gums) and with a special light we help to activate the whitening agent for a more satisfactory whitening effect.
Dental whitening at home (home or outpatient)

We will take an impression of your teeth to make an exclusive splint-cover for your teeth (made to measure). This splint will be fitted with the whitening gel and placed in the mouth for the time indicated by the dentist (45 minutes to several hours, depending on the product chosen by the dentist, which best suits the patient’s needs).
The gel will be applied daily or at night for about 10-15 days. These gels contain carbamide or hydrogen peroxide and under the supervision of the dentist, it is a very effective procedure.
